Question by Are u honest?: How come Windows defender never found any spyware or maleware from my computer even I had some?
I have a windows vista home premium computer.I allways noticed none of the time since i have this computer and it has built in microsoft software ‘windows defender’that i allways update too.but never noticed or it said that it found a spyware or maleware from my comuter and when i was suspicious about it i tried some different spyware software and they found few spyware-maleware from my computer.I am not sure if windows defender really working.

well it is a windowws program -use superantispyware or spyware doctor starter edition –both are better and free

Question by : why and how did PC tools spyware doctor took over 5 hours to scan the whole computer?
it was ridiculous speed. in the end 21 infections were found. Why it took such long time to scan? isn’t that a very inferior performance?

i emailed spyware doctor saying that it took 5 hours time and its too slow but i never get any reply back.

Well it depends on how many files you have it scan. Doing a full system scan over 200GB of data is going to take a very long time reguardless of what program you use. For the most part just do a weekly Intelli-Scan and every month or so do a full system scan. It is not inferior in any way shape or form. I have used Spyware Doctor for over 2 years and nothing has escaped it yet. It also will go slower if you have tons of programs opened and running as well
